We handle laptops, phones, tablets, and small accessories. If you're unsure about a specific device, just ask.

Where do you ship? +

We currently ship anywhere within Canada. Coast to coast, from Vancouver to Halifax and everywhere in between.

How long does delivery take? +

Standard delivery takes 2-4 business days. Express service offers faster dispatch for time-sensitive situations.

What if the employee doesn't respond? +

We send polite, professional automated reminders on your behalf. You'll always know the status, and we handle the follow-up so you don't have to.

Is there a subscription or commitment? +

No. LapDrop is completely pay-per-use. No subscriptions, no setup fees, no long-term commitments.

Do you integrate with HR or IT systems? +

Not yet, but we're working on it. For now, our simple process works alongside your existing tools.

How does scheduled pickup work? +

Scheduled pickup is an add-on selected by the employer at the time of ordering. If added, Canada Post comes to the employee's door. If not, employees drop the kit at their nearest post office.

Why is LapDrop cheaper than US device return services for Canadian teams? +

US services classify Canadian shipments as international, even when both your employee and your office are in Canada. LapDrop ships everything within Canada so your return is priced as a domestic transaction — in CAD, with no international surcharge.

Do you ship from within Canada? +

Yes. All kits ship from within Canada. There is no cross-border leg in any LapDrop return or deployment.

What's in the return kit? +

A foam-padded box purpose-built for electronics, a cardboard insert to separate the device from accessories, a pre-printed return label in a zip-lock pouch, a tape strip to seal the box, and a printed instruction sheet with a QR code linking to the employee's status page.

What if the employee doesn't have a printer? +

No printer required. The return label comes pre-printed inside the kit in a zip-lock pouch. The employee transfers it to the label sleeve on the outside of the box.

Can employees request a scheduled pickup? +

Scheduled pickup is an add-on selected by the employer at the time of ordering. If pickup has been added to the order, the employee's status page will show the pickup details. Otherwise it directs them to their nearest Canada Post location.

What devices does the kit fit? +

The laptop kit fits laptops up to 17 inches along with accessories. LapDrop also handles smartphones and tablets using a separate kit.
